ThanksgivingStudents will earn about the Native American people and the Pilgrims who came to their land. They will learn about the differences between the native people and the Pilgrims, as well as the differences between how people celebrated the first Thanksgiving and how we celebrate it now.

Veterans DayStudents will learn all about Veterans Day! We will learn who veterans are and why we celebrate them. They will also also learn what day Veterans Day is celebrated on and some other names for similar holidays around the world.

Columbus Day
Students will learn about Christopher Columbus as an explorer. They will learn why we celebrate the holiday and how he helped to prove the Earth is round.

Labor Day
Students will identify Labor Day as a national holiday. Students will tell why, how and who we celebrate on Labor Day.
